Relationships can be complicated!

Relationships can be complicated. Not only they are made up of years of memories,

experiences and interactions but they also involve layers of complex emotions and motives.

The good news is that most aspects of our relationships don’t have to be complex or entangled. Special moments and small gestures are often what matters most in the relationship between two people.

Enjoy your relationships, by applying these simple wisdomery tips.

Start Your Day Right!

It’s far too easy to get off to a bad start in the morning. Comments like “Get down here and eat your breakfast” or “We’re late! Let’s go!” aren’t exactly bursting with love. Try to make your first interaction of the day a positive one. A simple “good morning” can go a long way. If you are in charge of waking others up, do so with gentle tone or even a kiss.

Ping Your Pal!

Send a message to a love one during the dull moments while you’re waiting in line at the store or using the microwave. Sending a short and sweet message to let them know you are thinking of them can go a long way. Do the same with your kids/friends to see your relationship bloom in vibrant colors.

Hit with a Pitch!

We don’t have to be a poet or an author to write a line or two. A sticky on the table that says

“Love you!” is more than what’s needed. You could also leave a post-it on the bathroom mirror or the fridge for the loved ones to find. If you want to put in extra effort, write out a short note expressing gratitude for your loved ones and drop it in the mail and wait for the magic to happen.

Hugs and Kisses!

Even tiny moments of physical intimacy can greatly improve your relationships. It conveys to the other person that you really care and it strengthens your emotional connect your bond with them. This can include a quick kiss, a warm hug or a minute of snuggling.

Are you stopping for coffee? How about a second cup for your special someone? Are you making yourself a snack? How about an extra piece for them too? Did you find a great shopping deal? Let your friend know about it or better buy one for them too. These small selfless acts goes a long way in building your relationships.

Surprise Them With Words!

Good words are worth much, and cost little. When you’re watching TV with your hubby, tell

him/her that you are glad to be married to them. Tell your child you are proud of them, on a day when nothing significant has happened. Praise them when you see a change in someone. You have the power to make a huge impact on your relationship with just one sentence.
